How has being a WGSS graduate from Emory shaped your life and career?

Being a student in WGSS has given me the confidence and knowledge to pursue graduate studies in the field. As a graduate of the department, I have been exposed to interdisciplinary scholarship graduate which gave me the opportunity to apply to and be marketable for various types of graduate programs. Additionally, the faculty has not only served as teachers but as mentors and I am grateful that I have a strong network of support as I continue my academic journey.
