Advising

I am here to help you as you pursue your goal of academic success within the WGSS department. As your WGSS Academic Advisor, I can help you make the right decisions in selecting elective courses and defining a path toward earning your degree. I can assist you in building your academic schedule, help you decide on whether a major or minor is best for you, and point you toward the best resources you’ll need to get where you want to go.

You will visit and meet with your assigned OUE Advisor if you have questions about GER or residency requirements, AP/Dual enrollment credits, course planning, degree progress, navigating challenges or concerns that may occur, need assistance with referrals to appropriate campus departments to aid you in resolving concerns, or need to make changes to your schedule past the add/drop/swap deadline.

If you have broader questions beyond academics such as honors program, advice about graduate school, research/SIRE opportunities, career options, etc. I suggest making an appointment with the current Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Sameena Mulla. Please feel free to send her an email at sameena.mulla@emory.edu for an appointment or current in-person office hours for the Fall semester.
