Admissions
Admission to the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) Ph.D. Program is highly selective. In general, we do not admit students to work with specific faculty members. Instead, we recruit cohorts, and during their second year in the program, students choose their advisors and select their area of concentration.
The WGSS Department accepts applications online through the Laney Graduate School beginning in early-to-mid September of each year.
